Due to the design of these deep waste fittings they are flush at the bottom so it can be difficult to install a standard sink waste trap as most popular manufacturers traps have a small locating lip that would fit inside a standard waste fitting. By using this adaptor on the commercial sink waste you can then fit any type of trap, lipped type or flush.
